Digger Safety Warnings

This section is to answer some frequently asked questions as well as give you some safety notes on the Ground Force Post Hole Diggers.

WARNINGS:

• Always use EXTREME CAUTION when using any type of equipment! Accidents can happen in the blink of an eye.

• The Ground Force Diggers Model F8C are designed to be used on 60 horsepower and larger tractors and should not be attached to smaller tractors! (Also applies to the Conversion Kit.)

• Never allow anyone to stand within 25 feet of the digger when in operation!  Failure to obey these rules could cause severe injury or death.

• The Ground Force Post Hole Digger is a down pressure digger that diverts the weight of the tractor to the drilling surface of the bit.  Apply down pressure a little at a time -- never apply down pressure in excessive amounts!

• CAUTION:  Do not use this digger unless the tractor is in a  level position.

Mounting Digger to Tractor

The Ground Force Diggers come equipped with side adjusting links, used to lock the three point hitch in a rigid position. The side adjusting links should be used to determine the height the digger will be carried on the tractor. Shortening the side arms will result in the digger being carried at a higher position. Lengthening the side arms will result in the digger being carried at a lower position. The higher position will increase ground clearance, the lower position will increase drilling depth.

Once the bolts are installed in the side adjusting links, the three point hitch is locked from moving up or down. The three point hitch control lever on the tractor is to be placed in a lowered position and not used as long as the digger is attached to the tractor. The Remote hydraulic lever is used to operate the digger, Not the three point hitch!
